Assistant Director |Housing Operations

E.J. Walicki came to Saint Leo University in July of last year after spending four years as a Residence Life Coordinator at the University of North Florida.  E.J. received his Bachelor of Science in Astronomy in 2007 and his Master of Education in Student Personnel in Higher Education in 2010 both from the University of Florida. E.J. and his wife Bekie are parents to two wonderful children, John (born August 2013) and Kate (born October 2014).  E.J. has advised student residence hall organizations, attended student and professional conferences, and was a member of the SEAHO Regional Entry Level Institute (RELI) in 2011.

The Assistant Director of Residence Life for Housing Operations is a full-time masters-level housing professional who works primarily with housing assignments/occupancy management and the living learning communities. The Assistant Director supervises all interns for the department throughout the year and serves as a member of the professional staff on-call rotation. The Assistant Director reports to the Associate Director of Residence Life.
